🚀 About the role
Aquablu is scaling fast, and our two most valuable kinds of relationship now need a dedicated owner.
On one side: large enterprise customers spread across dozens of sites and multiple countries, who expect one strategic point of contact rather than a relay of handoffs. On the other: our reseller network — partners who sell Aquablu while we own the client contract, the installation, and, service and all post-sales activities. Both are where our growth is going.
That's this job. You own enterprise and reseller accounts end to end: from contract signature, through installation, to expansion. You have a team to make this happen.
Germany matters here. This market and this role will anchor as the reseller motion matures. Expect to spend real time there, which is why we need you to be German-speaking.
💡 What you'll do
Own the full lifecycle of complex, multi-site enterprise accounts, often international, with many stakeholders, one relationship to keep healthy
Coordinate from contract signature to installation
Build and run the reseller motion. Onboard resellers, co-run quarterly reviews, and untangle the commercial and operational complexity that comes with multi-country deals
Drive retention and expansion through renewals, Pay-Per-Drink conversion, and upsell, anchored in real value rather than pressure
Lead, don't execute. You set direction on your accounts. Our Customer Experience team runs onboarding and installation delivery, and our service coordination lead owns SLA performance across partners. You pull them in and hold the thread.
Turn what you learn into process. Playbooks, clear handover points, and a documented way of serving complex accounts that outlasts any single deal
Work across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product so the customer feels one Aquablu, not a relay of handoffs
👋 About you
5+ years in Customer Success, account management, or partner management, with a track record on complex or enterprise accounts
Fluent German and English, written and spoken. German is a requirement, as it's the market you'll anchor.
Dutch, French, or another language at working level is a strong plus given our footprint.
Hybrid by design. This is not a pure account manager role and not a pure ops role. The combination is deliberate: You're commercially sharp enough to spot a renewal risk and an expansion opening in the same conversation, and operationally fluent enough to know why an installation slipped and what to do about it.
Comfortable with multi-country contracting and legal complexity (or ready to get comfortable fast).
A problem-solver who builds structure. You're at your best where the process doesn't exist yet and someone needs to write it.
Ownership. You manage relationships and open threads independently, pulling in colleagues when it helps.
Structured. You keep multiple accounts and workstreams moving without dropping things.
Technically eager. You pick up new tools fast (we work with AURA, HubSpot, Asana, and Shopify).
You communicate clearly and directly, and involve the right people.
