We’re on the lookout for a passionate, fast-moving Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us scale at speed. At Aquablu, hiring is about fueling growth. We move quickly, think commercially, and expect the same from our talent partner: someone with the drive of a hunter and the mindset of a builder.

You’ll own the end-to-end recruitment process – from sourcing and closing to onboarding – while also strengthening our employer brand. As part of our People team, you’ll report to the People & Culture Lead and collaborate directly with our CEO & Founder, Marnix.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run hiring like a business-critical function: own the process end-to-end, managing multiple roles simultaneously (often 10+).

  • Think like a hunter: proactively source and engage top talent across functions, never waiting for the perfect CV to land.

  • Create an exceptional candidate journey: be an Aquablu ambassador, embodying our mission and values while delivering a clear, fast, and energizing process.

  • Partner with leadership & hiring managers: define needs and act fast to deliver results. In our scaling environment, speed and sharp decision-making are everything.

  • Raise the bar: educate and coach hiring managers to ensure every hire meets our high standards without slowing down momentum.

  • Own the employer brand: collaborate with marketing to position Aquablu as a top destination for talent.

  • Optimize with data & AI: track metrics, remove bottlenecks, and leverage automation/AI to keep us ahead of the curve.

  • Go beyond recruitment: while 80% of your focus is talent acquisition, you’ll also contribute to People & Culture topics such as company culture, operations, and workplace experience.

About You

  • 3+ years of proven recruitment experience: confident managing the full process from start to finish.

  • Energized by speed & variety: juggling multiple roles in a dynamic environment excites you.

  • Commercially minded & hunter-driven: you understand that hiring fuels growth, and you chase talent relentlessly.

  • Strong stakeholder management: confident partnering with everyone from junior hires to C-level and founders.

  • Ownership mentality: you don’t wait for direction—you make things happen and deliver with urgency.

  • Broad hiring expertise: experience hiring across tech (software & hardware), commercial, and operational roles.

  • High energy & resilience: you bring contagious drive, even under pressure.

  • Impact-focused: motivated by the chance to directly shape the success of a scaling company.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.

  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship (we are not IND registered sponsors).
