About the role
At Aquablu, our office is the beating heart of our fast-growing scale-up. As we continue to grow and prepare for an exciting move to our 1,600 m² newly designed, high-end experience center, we’re looking for an experienced Workplace Manager to help shape this next chapter
We’re looking for someone who’s no stranger to office management, loves owning their space, and can keep everything running smoothly while the company around them moves at scale-up speed. 👀
You are the backbone of our office. From day-to-day office management to supporting our founders and welcoming everyone who walks through the door — you make sure things work, feel organized, and stay human.
What you’ll be doing:
Ownership – Take full ownership of our office and workplace operations and act as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, partners, and clients
Operations – Manage office facilities, security, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure everything runs smoothly day to day
Supplies – Own all office supplies, tools, lunch, snacks, and the overall office setupVendors – Coordinate suppliers and service providers, from couriers to coffee machines
Relocation – Play a key role in our upcoming office move, including coordination, re-organization, and set-up
Onboarding – Own the onboarding of new joiners, making sure their very first Aquablu experience is smooth, welcoming, and well-prepared
Experience – Work closely with the People & Culture team to create and maintain a great employee experience
Support – Provide PA-style support to the founders where needed (planning, coordination, logistics)
Events – Plan and organize office events, team moments, and partner & client events
Celebration – Bring energy to the office by organizing birthdays, work anniversaries, and small moments worth celebrating
Go-to – Be the go-to person in the office for practical questions and ad-hoc needs
Scale-up – Jump in where needed, proactively improving how our office works as we grow and change
📍Full time & on-site at our HQ in Amsterdam
📍Start: latest February 2026
About You
Experienced: You have at least 2 years of experience in Office Management or a similar operational / workplace role.
Structured & proactive: You see what needs to be done before it escalates and take action.
People-oriented and operationally strong: You care about experience and culture, and you know how to execute.
Comfortable in a scale-up environment: Change doesn’t stress you — you adapt and help others do the same.
Hands-on: No task is “too small” if it helps the office run better.
Language skills: Speaking Dutch is a big plus — ideally you can communicate at B1 level or higher.
Valid to work in NL without company visa sponsorship.
